Shadow Lakes Golf Club Presents
18 holes winding through shadow-casting tree lines and lake-lined fairways. Where still water reflects the sky and every approach carries risk.
The Course
Seven lakes, ancient tree lines, and fairways that disappear into long afternoon shadows. Every hole tells a different story.

The Holes
A tight 385-yard dogleg left that threads between two lakes. Your drive must carry the water on the left while avoiding the tree line that shadows the right side of the fairway. The green sits on a peninsula — three-quarters surrounded by still, dark water.
165 yards over a glassy lake that reflects the tree canopy on calm mornings. The green is shallow and slopes back toward the water. Club selection is everything — long is gone, short is wet, and the wind off the lake adds a ghost club.
The longest hole on the course at 535 yards. A corridor of towering oaks casts deep shadows across the fairway all afternoon. Two strategic layups around a creek crossing set up an approach to a green framed by beaver lakes and cattails.
A deceptively short 340 yards with water running the entire left side. The namesake beaver dam sits just off the 150-yard marker, and the approach must carry a final pond guarding the front of the green. Par here feels like birdie anywhere else.
Twelve of eighteen holes feature water hazards. Bring extra balls.
The Setting
“The lakes are so still in the morning they look like glass. You can see the tree line reflected perfectly — until your ball breaks the surface.”

Call for ReservationsHistory
Shadow Lakes Golf Club sits on land shaped by the beaver dams and creek systems that carved the valleys of western Beaver County. The course was built around the natural lakes that give it its name — seven bodies of water that wind through 180 acres of hardwood forest and rolling terrain near Raccoon Creek State Park. Over the decades, Shadow Lakes has become a favorite of local golfers who appreciate an honest layout where water is not a decoration but a defining feature of every round. The tree-lined fairways cast long shadows in the afternoon light, and the lakes go mirror-still at dawn. With Magg’s Restaurant on site and a welcoming clubhouse, Shadow Lakes is the kind of place where you play 18, eat well, and come back next weekend.
